Sunday, January 5, 2014 (La Posa South LTVA, Quartzsite, AZ)

I am always surprised at how fast a few hours can slip by as I sit in my recliner with my coffee in the morning. I'm up shortly before 6:30...and then next thing I know it's after 9:00! Mind you, during that time I download pictures and do yesterday's blog...along with checking email, etc.

It was going on towards noon when we decided to drive into Quartzsite and check out the vendors that have set up since we were there early last month. Things are really starting to pick up with preparations for The Quartzsite Sports, Vacation &n RV Show January 18 - 26, 2014. It's getting much busier!

After wandering around for a couple of hours, it was time for a break at Beer Belly's Adult Day Care...

We were back home just before 3:00, having spent only $2.50 on rubber gloves (for sewer dumping) and nail clippers (oh, plus the beer). We were sitting outside in the late afternoon sunshine when Bob stopped by. He and Sue had just gotten back from placing another 26 geocaches...they certainly are keeping the geocachers busy around here!

After dinner Earl and Allison came over for an evening of playing "Marbles" (better known as Aggravation). We ended the evening after four games...Steve had won 3 and Earl 1. Another fun evening!
