We woke to beautiful blue skies this morning...it's going to be a great day for a ride on our quads! We packed a lunch and were ready to go...it was 10:00 when we headed out. There were four quads...Earl and Allison; Eric (Janet decided to stay home); Steve and I. I led the way through La Posa South, across the highway and through La Posa Tyson Wells LTVA, to Tyson Wash near the 'big tent'...today is the last day of the RV Show...didn't look too terribly busy in the parking area so far today.
Once in the Wash, we continued north, going under the I-10 bridges, until we came to the power lines. From here we headed west...with Earl and Allison in the lead.

Into the mountains we go...
We're going up into Diablo Pass...
We are headed to the edge of that valley...
Steve, Eric, Allison and Earl...
We even managed to find a few geocaches along the way...
A great spot for a break...what a view!
We had visitors stop by for a chat...
And we're off again...
Steve found it difficult at times keeping up with us while taking pictures. Go Pro camera is on his wish list...
Earl and Allison...that trail dead-ended, so we had to turn around...
That's me...
Eric...
We're approaching the old Dome Basin Mine site...
Here comes Eric...
Allison taking a look in an old mine shaft...
Steve went a little further in...what a stink from the bats!
Another shaft...
Steve climbed up the hill a bit to get a picture; he's above the mine shaft...
There's a geocache at the end of that road on the top left...
We found the geocache then enjoyed the view...
Time to head back down...
Time to search for another geocache...
This part of the trail was hilly with lots of twists and turns...a real blast to ride!
We were back home at about 4:00...after a fabulous 6 hours out on the trails. What a great day...we saw some beautiful areas and the trails were awesome!
After putting our stuff away and getting dusted off, we went over to Eric and Janet's place for happy hour. The six of us sat out enjoying the late afternoon sun as it got lower in the sky...the end to another great day!
