Tuesday, January 25 to Thursday, January 27, 2022 (The Oasis Resort, Palm Springs, CA PART 2)

Our week in Palm Springs continues...for those of you who know Steve, he loves airplanes, so whenever there is a museum close, he has to check it out!

Tuesday afternoon, Allison and I dropped Steve off at the Palm Springs Air Museum while we went for haircuts. Needless to say, he was in his glory...Earl's back is still acting up, so unfortunately, he missed out on the museum. I'll pass this over to Steve now....

If you have the dollars you are able to take a flight in one of the many aircraft from $99 to $4,995!!! They have a huge aeronautics library, and half a dozen flight simulators to play on.

Wednesday...and our last full day here! Bummer! Allison and I headed off for a final Costco shop. We were home around noon, and after lunch Steve and I went to the pool one final time. Earl and Allison joined us a little later after they got back from another shopping trip.

Earl cooked us a delicious chicken curry for dinner....
Thursday morning we had the truck all packed up by about 10:00 and then decided to take one final walk around the resort. After checking out, we hit the road east and had an uneventful drive home, make one final stop at Albertson's in Blythe to pick up the last of the groceries needed.

We arrived back in Q just after 2:00...and then the fun of unloading and putting away got started! Thank goodness for Earl's pickup...we were fully loaded, including groceries on the floor by our feet!
Such a wonderful week away...and a nice change! We might have to do it next January too!
