Tuesday, December 31, 2013 (La Posa South LTVA, Quartzsite, AZ)

After our usual start to the day, we did our resistance exercises and then I made breakfast while Steve had his shower. Before my shower, I got out for my 45 minute powerwalk. It was almost noon by the time I had gotten myself all cleaned up and the dishes done.  Steve had offloaded his quad from the truck and was taking care of a bunch of chores around the trailer.

Shortly after 1:00 we decided to go for a walk and find some geocaches that Earl and Allison had placed not far from here.
Everything on this tree wants to prick you. Look at the spikes on the branches!

We had a great walk on a beautiful afternoon and found six geocaches. Now it was time to get ready for our New Years Eve get-together. We had a potluck and campfire...with 5 couples joining us. Left to right...Steve, Earl, Allison, Teddy, Rich, Rob and Peggy...Bob and Sue arrived a little later.

So much great food!

We had a great evening...bringing in the New Year on eastern time...in other words, we called it a night early and were in bed by 10:30.
