Saturday, November 30, 2013 (Midland LTVA, Blythe, California)

We had our usual start to the day then after breakfast, we headed out for a walk...it was another beautiful day!

We stopped at Ann and Armand's and chatted with them for a bit and then said our goodbyes since we are leaving tomorrow. We continued our walk, checking out the sani-dump and the road around to the LTVA entrance...we'll have to loop back around to another road since one part of the road has a tree over-growing just a little too much.

Back home, we had a couple of hours before Charlene and Dennis would be picking us up...we're going to the races today...so Steve loaded the quads back into the truck and generally puttered around in preparation for leaving tomorrow. While he was busy with that, I sat in the sunshine reading.

Shortly before 1:30, Charlene and Dennis picked us up and we headed back to the I-10 Lucas Oil Speedway to watch the car races. Jim and Mary, (our Thanksgiving hosts) from Bouse, Arizona, met us there...

The races ended at about 4:30 and after saying our goodbyes to Jim and Mary, we headed home. Dennis and Charlene came down to our place and we had another lovely evening chatting. We have really enjoyed spending time with them this past week. Tomorrow, we are going over to Quartzsite where we plan to settle there for awhile. No definite plans but we'll be there for at least a couple of months.
