As usual, I was up bright and early this morning to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and my many cups of coffee. We really didn’t have anything planned for today...just waiting with fingers crossed that the parts would arrive and Chris, the RV guy gets them installed without any problems. It was going to be another hot one today so we kept the windows shut, blinds down and the air conditioner on to keep the trailer cool. We went for our power walk just after 9am walking our usual route to the end of the trestle and back. After that, Steve spent the rest of the morning re-arranging again making room for the additional purchases made yesterday.
Shortly after 1:30 the RV Guy arrived with the parts and after a couple of hours they were installed. He sat with us in the shade with some iced tea for a bit...I love listening to him talk; he’s got a great American accent (he is originally from Arkansa.) This is a picture of Chris Brady installing the new jacks...
We enjoyed our happy hour watching all the weekender’s arrive. It is obviously a popular spot for weekend get-aways because it cleared out after the long weekend and was quite empty all week until units started arriving this afternoon...we’ve lost the little bit of a view of the ocean that we had...sheesh! Eric (our neighbour) joined us for a bit and then Steve BBQ’d shish kabobs for dinner....they were excellent! That was it for another day....
