Ken and Donna arrived just before 9:00 to pick us up...this morning we're going for a hike in Estrella Mountain Regional Park. Donna is an avid hiker and in the four months they have been here has hiked all of the trails here in the park (as well as many other trails in the area), so she is showing us some of the beauty of the area. We drove the short distance to the trailhead...and we were off...

Four hours and about 7 miles later, we were back at the car...my feet were killing me but wow, what an awesome hike in a beautiful desert area!
Ken and Donna dropped us off at our trailer and Steve and I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing. It was a beautiful day...here is a picture of the golf course from our site...

At 6:30 Ken and Charlene picked us up and we headed to Goodyear Ballpark to watch the Cincinnati Red Skins take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. This would be our very first professional baseball game. The senior's rate (yes, we're considered seniors for this event) also included a hot dog and soft drink.
The game ended at 10:00 with the Dodgers winning 10-2...it was interesting and I'm glad we went but I really don't think I'd be racing to another. Ken and Charlene dropped us off at the park entrance and with the gate closed, we walked the short distance to our site. Tomorrow is our last day here and it's going to be a work day. Steve has some maintenance issues to deal with and I have to go grocery shopping. However, we will see Ken, Charlene, Bob and Donna one last time...we have invited them over for dinner tomorrow night.
