As we drank our coffee this morning, there was a beautiful sunrise...
We were a little later getting on the road than planned this morning. After we were all packed up and ready to go, we walked over to say "Hi and Bye" to Marg and Bill. We had planned on stopping by their place yesterday on our walk but with a number of vehicles there, they obviously had company. After our brief chat with them, we walked up to Dennis and Charlene's and said goodbye and then were on our way to the sani-dump.
We stopped on the way out to say goodbye to Armand and Ann and were finally on the road by 10:30. It was a gorgeous day...
Wow..that's quite the truck and boat!
Down we go into the valley towards Indio and Palm Springs...

We arrived at Indian Waters RV Resort at about 12:30. After checking in, we were escorted to a pull-through site (#266). The pull-through site was barely long enough for us, especially since we wanted to unhitch. Hindsight is wonderful...we should have booked a regular back-in site and of course, they're all booked...oh well, we know better next time.
We got leveled off, and unhitched and then Steve plugged us in so that we could get the air-conditioner going...it was a hot day out there...87F/30C! After we got all set up, we relaxed inside for the rest of the afternoon until my brother and sister-in-law (Dennis and Suzanne) picked us up to take us back to their place.
They have a lovely spot at Outdoor Resorts, Indio.
After dinner, neighbours Dick and Jean, stopped by for a visit. We enjoyed our visit and just after 9:30, Dennis and Suzanne drove us home. Thanks very much, guys...looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
