Monday, March 24, 2014 (Travel to Guaranty RV, Junction City, Oregon)

We pulled out of Tri City RV Park shortly after 9:00...a beautiful day and the last in a long stretch of great weather; rain is forecast to arrive tonight.
This is the Umpqua River...

Beautiful, lush green countryside!

The Willamette River...

We arrived at Countryside Interiors in Junction City right on time for our 11:30 appointment. Last October on our way south, we had stopped there because the new leather recliners that we had purchased the year before were squeaking quite badly. They had sprayed silicone on the mechanism but thought it best to order replacement mechanisms that we could have installed on our way back north in the Spring.

Lunchtime, while the work is being done.

About an hour later, we drove the short distance to Guaranty RV and set up camp in their lot...50 amp electric and water hook-ups...sweet!

After we were all set up, Steve drove to Guaranty RV's new parts department back down the highway. He was hoping to find a new lens cover for the cracked outside security light so he could get it installed before the rain hits. He was unsuccessful...seems easy to purchase the whole light, but not just the lens cover.

John, our service rep from Guaranty, came over and went over the work that was to be done on the trailer. Our appointment isn't scheduled until Wednesday but it looks that we may be able to get in tomorrow. The end cap spring mechanisms for the slide topper should arrive tomorrow...hopefully!
