It was another beautiful sunny day here today...temps into the low 20’sC/70’sF...awesome!  Since we have been pretty busy over the last couple of days, we decided to have a “do nothing day”...aka...a down day.

After our coffee and breakfast, I worked on yesterday’s travel blog, uploading pictures and getting it posted...what a great hike!  After the dishes were done, I finally went and had my shower and Steve continued to watch one of “his” shows that he had PVR’d.

It was probably close to 11:00 when Steve decided to go outside and sit in the sunshine and read a magazine.  I sat at the table with the laptop and did some banking, responded to some emails and spoke to my brother, Don (via Skype) in Vancouver.  While talking, I noticed this roadrunner and alerted Steve to it...he came in and grabbed his camera...believe it or not, this is the first ‘live’ roadrunner we have ever seen...

At around 1:00, we thought that we would go for a bike ride...we rode all around the campgrounds (A and B), down to the overflow area, to the trailhead area....back through the picnic area, the equestrian area and finally back to campground B and our site.  We had been gone for about an hour...a little exercise on an otherwise very lazy day.

I was doing a little more work on the laptop (that I had forgotten to do earlier) while Steve set up his tripod outside and took a few pictures of the Catalina Mountains....

We sat outside in the sunshine reading...Rob and his dog, Chloe from Penticton, BC stopped and chatted for awhile.  As it cooled off, we decided to head inside.  We’d had a perfectly lovely, relaxing day!  Tomorrow we are going to go to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
