February 1, 2012 (Val Vista Village RV Resort, Mesa, AZ)

It was after 10:30 when we all piled into the jeep and headed towards Superstition Springs Mall.  Dennis dropped Suzanne and I off at the Macy’s entrance...I have my phone; we will call when we are ready to be picked up.  Dennis and Steve were going to Best Buy with my iPad to have the screen cover replaced since the one they installed on Sunday had bubbles in it. Then they were getting haircuts and Dennis was going to wash the jeep.

Suzanne and I spent the next 3 ½ hours wandering through this huge mall...we had great success in our shopping endeavours but also had a wonderful time just looking through the stores and spending time together.

Dennis, Steve and Dunkin picked us up just after 2:30.  Once home both Suzanne and I went into our respective RVs and made ourselves some lunch...we couldn’t believe that we hadn’t stopped for lunch along the way at the mall...just too wrapped up in our shopping, I guess!

A little later, Dennis and Suzanne came over saying that they were going to make a quick trip over to Walmart to pick up a couple of things...so we decided to tag along with them.  We bought some bottled water and some grapefruit...we had had some for breakfast this morning (thanks, Suzanne) and they were delicious.

When we got back we decided to go for a bike ride around the RV park (a little exercise before happy hour)...here is Dunkin ready to go...

Dunkin is keeping an eye out for Dennis and Steve who are ahead of us...

After our ride, Suzanne and I “dressed up” in our matching purchases (hoodies and Asics runners) from the mall and posed for the camera....with our Mudslide drinks...

We enjoyed our happy hour chatting about our day...and other things that we might do over the next week.  We are going to a “Canada Day” dinner on Saturday...everyone brings a dish to feed 10 and they provide the meat...hmmm...must decide what to take.  It sounds like fun!
After our happy “hour”, we headed back to our rig to start preparing dinner.  While Steve was barbequing chicken, I popped over to Dennis and Suzanne’s place to say hi to our brother, Don, in Vancouver...Dennis was talking to him on Skype.
With dinner over and dishes done, we settled in to watch the last few episodes of Homeland that Dennis had downloaded for us.  We made it through 2 but at 10:30 when we found out that the final episode was a 90 minute season finale, we decided we would leave it until tomorrow.
