Just outside of the RV Resort, we turned west off Val Vista Drive onto University Drive which took us all the way into downtown Tempe and after finding a parking spot, we started our walk along the few blocks of the Mill Avenue District. The area is full of trendy shops and tons of restaurants and bars.
There were tons of people hiking up the mountain in the background...getting their Sunday exercise, I guess...
Gotta like the name of this store...
Yup, we just had to go in...
This is where we went for lunch...we sat outside on the deck (upstairs)...
After lunch, we returned to the jeep and headed home. We made a stop at Walmart and were back at the RV Resort at about 3pm. While Dennis and Suzanne took Dunkin out for a walk...to the grassy area by the park entrance, Steve and I took the bikes out for a quick ride around the perimeter of the RV Resort.
We enjoyed happy hour over at Suzanne and Dennis’ patio and then decided to head inside...we all wanted to just relax in the comforts of our own homes tonight. We had a nice chat on Skype with Chris and then Rob and Angie...so nice having a great Wi-Fi signal, thanks to our neighbour, Dave...he had hi-speed internet installed on his Park-Model last week and gave us his password...nice!
