Friday, February 18, 2011 (Braunig Lake RV Resort, San Antonio, TX)

We had a nice leisurely start to the day and after numerous cups of coffee, it was time for exercises and showers...a nice long shower in my own bathroom...Yay! Before making breakfast, we decided to walk up to the office and sign up for the tour of San Antonio—we thought we would take it tomorrow. Today we are going to wash the trailer...we also had to pay the $5 charge—for water use.

It was a mix of sun and clouds but a warm windy morning in the high 70’s...Steve took some pictures of the campground...

As I mentioned, the sites are very close together...

After breakfast, Steve headed outside to start getting set up to wash the trailer while I cleaned up the dishes. Washing the trailer is a big job...one that he usually likes to split into 2 days...but not this time. He started with the roof...

After that was done, I helped him with the rest of the trailer...I was scrubbing with the brush and he was going over the problem areas with a sponge. It was after 5:30 by the time we were finishing up...Steve was cleaning the wheels while I was taking a squeegee to the windows. It had been a good 6 hour job but it sure looked good!

Well, today had been a work day....tomorrow we were looking forward to a “play” day...going on a tour of San Antonio!
