Our MiFi was picking up a fairly good internet signal today...a real change from the spotty on again off again service we had been getting. And this signal was without the help of Deb and Ray's antenna!

So....needless to say what I spent my day doing! Yes, I'm all up-to-date on our blog. Hopefully we'll continue to have a signal...it wouldn't support a Skype call but it seems to be okay for the blog (although uploading pictures was a little slow). I'm also happy being connected with the outside world and Steve is happy being able to keep up-to-date on his various blogs and forums.

Steve headed out fishing about mid-morning but he no sooner got out on the lake when a strong wind came up. He had a heck of a time getting back in with just the electric motor! So once back, he put the electric motor away and got the outboard motor out.

I forgot to mention that Steve off-loaded the quads Wednesday while Deb and I were away shopping in Kamloops. I've also downloaded geocaches for the area so we are all set for a little exploring!

We had another thunderstorm brewing all afternoon. By late afternoon, the clouds were black and the thunder was booming! When the wind really started whipping up, we decided to take our happy hour inside. We were expecting a major downpour but surprisingly, the clouds seemed to skirt around us.

And that was pretty much our day...the days and weeks are just flying by! Only two more weeks and we will be back in Fort Langley!
