It was about noon when we were all set up in our new location. The wind had died down to just a nice breeze, the sun was shining...it was a beautiful day. Steve wanted to put the “slime” in his front bike tire which means you have to ride it a bit to get the stuff to coat the inside of the tire tube, so after lunch we went for a bike ride around the resort.
Lots of sail boats out on the lake...
After our ride, we sat outside in the sun (then shade) reading for about an hour and a half until it was time to get changed...we were going to walk down to the marina for drinks and dinner.
It was just before 5pm when we arrived at the bar and grill on the dock. We were surprised that it wasn’t busier on a Saturday night but I guess this is the “off-season”.
We had a couple of beers and then ordered dinner...you should have seen Steve’s face when his burger arrived...it was huge! It had a knife through it to keep it together! I wish we had taken a picture of it. It was a half pound of burger with bacon, onion ring...the works on it! We should have shared it.
It was just getting dark as we left the restaurant and headed back along the dock home....
