Well...as you can tell, I am way behind on our travel blog so I thought I would just combine these days into one posting.
Poor Dunkin was exhausted...
It was just before 9:00 when we pulled out of Sam’s Town...Dennis and Suzanne leading the way in their coach—we are travelling north together. It was a beautiful morning...a great day for travelling. What is that white stuff in the distance? Snow on the mountain tops...
We passed Hill Air Force Base outside Vegas...
Mesquite, Nevada....
Beautiful drive through a gorge on the way to St. George, Utah...
The scenery on today's drive was just spectacular! This is the Virgin River...
See the little arch up in the mountain?...
The snow covered mountains are just stunning...
Snow!
This semi had a bit of a mishap...I wonder what happened...perhaps he fell asleep?
After a long day of driving (and loosing an hour due to a time zone change), we stopped at the Fillmore KOA in the little town of Fillmore, Utah...
Cheers!
We were up Wednesday morning and on the road again around 9:00...our destination today is Brigham City, Utah, just north of Salt Lake City. We have booked into the same RV park that we stayed at on our way south last October.
Another beautiful travel day with spectacular scenery...
There just weren`t enough rest areas along the Interstate...we had to pull off at an exit for a pee break...
We were in the lead today...Suzanne took these pictures of us...
Through Salt Lake City...on a very busy freeway...
It was a shorter drive today...we arrived at Golden Spike RV Park in Brigham City, Utah at 1:00 p.m...
Ashley, a 6 year old girl that is living here in the park while their house is being built, took this picture for us...
This is Ashley with her dog, Jack...
We were on the road early again on Thursday. We started off with lots of blue sky but there were some dark looking clouds in the distance...but we managed to skirt around them. The scenery wasn't quite as spectacular as it had been the last couple of days...but it was still another great day for travelling.
The Snake River...
