We woke to a cold, cloudy morning...a major change from the last 2 days!
We pulled out of the casino parking lot at about 8:35 a.m. and took I-80 continuing our trek west. It was a beautiful drive but the Fall colours are way behind what we saw in New Brunswick and Maine...just starting to turn yellow.
Susquehanna River...
The scenery is beautiful, even if it is cloudy out...
Spectacular!
Allegheny River...
A very patriotic overpass...
Meander Reservoir...
Lake Milton...
After a long travel day...327 miles...we arrived at the Walmart in Tallmadge, Ohio. As usual, we checked to ensure it was okay to stay the night in their parking lot.
One more travel day and we will arrive at our destination for RV repairs...Elkhart, Indiana.
Love all the farms and pretty awesome overpass.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful drive!
DeleteProbably the biggest thing we like about being out here (besides seeing the kids) is the rolling countryside and all the beautiful farms.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! A very scenic area.
DeleteAgreed. The farms and scenery are so good. Highest elevation at 2250? Not like some of the western hills.
ReplyDeleteNot even close to the elevations we are used to in the west.
