After breakfast, Steve tackled a little project...installation of the screen door handle. He didn't think it was going to fit, but he managed to get it on with such a small margin of metal on either side of the screen.
About 10:30, Steve headed into Blythe to get propane and fill our blue water containers with fresh water. A short while later Charlene and I also went into town...our annual day together...lunch, a haircut for me and a little shopping. We were back home shortly after 2:30...thanks for a great time, Charlene!
Steve and I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and reading. Armand and Anne stopped by in their side-by-side on their way home from a ride. We enjoyed a chat with them and after they left, we retreated inside because the wind had come up and I found it a little chilly.
The wind died down a little later so Steve decided to set up the Campfire-In-A-Can and we sat outside enjoying the late afternoon sun on the mountains. Charlene and Dennis came over and joined us...
And a lovely sunset...
The wind came up again and it got a little chilly out so we headed inside to continue our visit for a little while longer. At about 6:30 Dennis and Charlene said goodnight and headed home.
After dinner Steve and I settled in for a little TV. We are driving back down to Los Algodones, Mexico so Steve can have his new crown looked at. Two days after having it done he had tingling and numbness on that side of his face. That only lasted a day and it seems to be slowly getting better but the gum area around the tooth is tender so he thought it would be a good idea to have it checked and find out if it's because he declined a root canal.
