Friday, December 12, 2014 (Midland LTVA, Blythe, CA)

We really didn't do much today. After Steve finished editing all of the pictures he took on our ride yesterday, I got started on the blog post. While I was doing that, Steve was outside putting things away then dusting off the truck and trailer with the California Duster...rain is in the forecast.

The wind started up at 1:00...it was like a switch turning it on. Then the clouds moved in...

It wasn't long before it was "socked right in"...the mountains were no longer visible...and the rain started.

Late afternoon, the clouds broke up enough to let the setting sun peek through briefly before it disappeared...

Charlene and Dennis came over and we enjoyed our last evening here, with cocktails and dinner...

We have enjoyed our week here but it's time to move on...we are heading over to Quartzsite tomorrow.
