Friday, March 22, 2019 (Travel to Rolling Hills Casino, Corning, CA)

We were up at 6:00 after a much better sleep than we expected in a truck stop...the ear plugs helped. We got cleaned up and headed across the street to Starbucks for coffee and a bite to eat. It was a foggy morning.

Back at the rig, we pulled in the bedroom slide and Steve washed the truck windows...
And then we were on the road at 7:20, heading north on I-5...very foggy...
A covered orchard...
The fog has cleared...miles of orchards...
And then there is the stinky areas we have to drive through....huge stockyards...
So much for the blue sky...we're into clouds now. An agriculture canal...

Steve gave the yellow tinted driving glasses a try...too funny...didn't last long though!
We ran into rain around Sacramento and it rained off and on the rest of the way.
It was a rainy winter here...crossing a marshland...

We pulled into Rolling Hills Casino around 3:00 and backed into a spot along the outer edge of the lot. They have a beautiful campground here but we are cheap and stay with the truckers and other cheap RV'ers :)
Again, we just put out the bedroom slide and after getting things set up inside, we headed off in the rain over to the casino for drinks and dinner...
We had a great evening...with no gambling...at one of our favourite casino stops!
