It was about 10:15 when we pulled out of Bullards Beach State Park and continued south on Hwy 101. It was an absolutely beautiful travel day...such a difference after all of the rain and wind! As usual, lots of pictures were taken (just a warning LOL!)
This is the Coquille River...we crossed it as soon as we left the campground...
The Elk River...
Absolutely stunning views of the magnificent Oregon Coastline....
Homes right on the oceanfront...

Can you see the arch in the middle rock...

We pulled into the big marina in Crescent City and ate our lunch watching all of the fishing boats...
"Trees of Mystery is a roadside attraction about 35 miles south of the Oregon border. This private enterprise, founded in 1931, is located adjacent to US Highway 101 on private land surrounded by Redwood National and State Parks."

Rest stop...it's handy when you tow your bathroom along with you!
Eureka, California...
It was after 4:00 when we arrived at Bear River Casino Hotel in Lolita, California... casinocamper.com is a great resource for finding casinos that allow overnight parking. Six hours on the road was long enough...especially when you're towing a big rig along the windy 101 highway!
We got all squared away inside and then relaxed for a bit before heading over to the casino to take a look around...
...and have a beer...
nice that the two of you have finally found the sunshine!
