Sunday, September 1, 2013 (Kinaskan Lake Provincial Park, Stewart-Cassiar Highway, BC)

It was another cold morning again...Arizona is looking so good right now!

Today, we both went out fishing...by 9:15 when we headed out, it had warmed up a bit but it was still chilly and foggy on the water...

It wasn't long, though, before the fog started lifting revealing blue sky...

And then the fish started biting!

It started getting quite warm and with the bright sun, Steve decided he had better put on some sunscreen...this is a goofy picture of him that I took before he had all of the white lotion rubbed in.  He looked quite hilarious!

Hawk or Falcon...

Steve didn't realize it had a fish when he took this picture...

We went in just after 11:00 for a "rest" break and were back out on the water at 11:30...fishing was great!  At about 1:45 we put everything away...that was enough fishing for today. Steve caught 12 fish and I caught 10...all catch and release.

Once all the gear was put away, we went for a spin to check out a little bay that is the entranceway to an outflowing river and falls.  There was a cool little cabin...

And we are almost home...

Before loading the boat back onto the truck, Steve decided to wash it off with the lake water.  It was now time to pack everything up.  Steve worked on that while I did the dishes that didn't get done this morning.

We were all done by 4:00...just in time to sit down by the lake with a drink and enjoy the views and all of the "goings on" on the lake.

A float plane landed and took off a couple of times...must be transporting something/someone into the next valley...

More fishers out on the lake in their pontoon boats...Fish On!

At about 6:00, I went in to get dinner on while Steve washed the truck windows in preparation for leaving first thing in the morning.  After dinner we went for a power walk around the campground and then settled inside for the evening.  I read from my kindle while Steve watch his PVR'd programs on TV.
