We woke to a cloudy drizzly day but the lake was calm and the clouds looked like they could easily break...let's hope! It was cold again this morning...11C/52F in the trailer means it's furnace time!
With no internet and no satellite TV here, Steve decided he should continue editing pictures and exporting ones he wants in the blog. He is working on our 12 hour tour of Denali National Park and Preserve. There are still 290 pictures left after editing and we can't post them all so I told him he gets to choose! That's a tough job.
Then it was time to get on with our day...exercises first, breakfast, showers and dishes and we're ready to face the day! Steve was anxious to get out fishing...so it wasn't long before he was out on the lake...
He had the camera with him and took a bunch of pictures. Yesterday I had mentioned that a herd of horses went galloping through the campground, well today they came back through. These are First Nations people in the boat and their dog is on shore herding the horses down the trail...
Hikers had to move out of the way...
A fish!!!...
While Steve was out fishing, I spent my time reading my book...pretty darned relaxing! He was back in around 2:00. Fishing was great...he caught 9 trout! That's more like it! This was his smallest catch of the day...most were 8'' to 12". I guess it swallowed the hook and bled out so he.had to keep it.
There was a trailhead right by our site so we decided to go for a hike. This is the trail that the horses went on...they've made quite a mess of it...

After our hike on the trail, we decided to go for a walk through the campground to the day-use area and boat launch...our rig is in the background...
On the way back, I thought I would take a picture of a couple of sites...nice long sites, but a little close together...
Now it was time to relax and enjoy the view with a drink...
After dinner Steve thought he would go back out for an hour or so...not as much luck tonight...only a couple...
...but a nice sunset...
We were in bed by 10:00...I continued reading for a bit but it wasn't long before I was nodding off.
