This morning everyone met at our place at 9:00 and we all headed into town on our quads...much easier than battling the traffic trying to find a parking spot!
Today we are visiting the "Big Tent" and we figured we would get there early.
Red and Pam (right) ready to battle the crowds...

Red and Pam (right) ready to battle the crowds...
Lots of food vendors...
It's already quite busy...
Lots of vendors outside surround the tent too...
We all went our separate ways and after a couple of hours wandering, we re-grouped at Beer Belly's for lunch...Red, Pam, Allison, Earl, Eric, Janet and me...
Some folks got up to dance to the music...
Red and Pam's turn for a picture in the "big chair" outside of Beer Belly's...
While walking around one of the vendors, I literally bumped into a fellow...and he looked at me and says "Dianne?". Yup, that's me...well, it turned out that he and his wife follow our blog! Darrell and Kelly are fellow BC'ers and are considering full timing. Wow, what a small world! They even invited us to visit them on their acreage in the interior at 150 Mile House...thanks for the offer! Looking forward to getting your contact info and perhaps seeing you this summer!
We got home around 2:00...we'd had our "fix" of the show, not much different from previous years. On the way home, we stopped at Bob and Sue's. Bob and Art had Sue's RzR up on the hoist replacing the front axles...
I spent the rest of the afternoon catching up on our blog while Steve drove into town to fill a propane tank and get drinking water. With the influx of so many RV's in the area, the internet signal has gotten very slow...especially in the morning and evenings. Once Steve got back, he went over the blog post I had just finished and then I managed to get it posted.
Shortly after 4:30, we walked down to see Dale, Chloe, Donna and Sammy to see if they wanted to join us on a ride to Dripping Springs tomorrow. We had a short visit with them and then headed home...see you tomorrow guys!
And there you have it...another day on the desert! We're looking forward to getting out on our quads again tomorrow...and hoping my quad doesn't leak oil anymore!
