Saturday, July 21, 2012 (Herald Provincial Park, Shuswap Lake, BC)

After breakfast Steve went out to dig out our water “toys” from storage...my floating water chair hadn’t been out since we began our travels and although the air mattress had been out, it hadn’t yet seen any lake water.  Today we thought we would spend the afternoon down at the lake enjoying the sunshine and water.

But first we were going to get a little exercise by going for a walk around the campground.

Once back from our walk we donned our swim suits and headed down to the beach...oh, another nice thing about our campsite—it’s close to the lake. 

We spent the next couple of hours floating on the lake, taking turns on each floatation device.  It wasn’t as hot out as it had been the first couple of days when we first arrived but it was nice...just more clouds around that would occasionally cover the sun.


Ahhh....
