Monday, November 10, 2014 (Travel to Pleasant Harbor RV Resort, Peoria, AZ)

It was shortly after 10:00 when we pulled up to the gatehouse as we headed out of the park. Linda was on duty and came out to bid us farewell...


We retraced our route, going back through Fountain Hills. The fountain happened to be spouting as we drove by...

We pulled into Pleasant Harbor RV Resort at about 11:30...

After checking in, we made our way over to what they call the temporary sites overlooking the marina. We managed to get a site across from Red and Pam...they arrived here last Friday and decided to extend their stay, moving to an end site with better views of the water and marina.

After getting all set up, Steve off-loaded the boat and got the truck ready to take into Midway Chevrolet tomorrow. While he was doing that, I sat inside the air-conditioned trailer working on our blog.

Red got his pontoon boat out and Pam helped him inflate it then they headed down to check out the lake and do a little fishing.

We were sitting outside enjoying the late afternoon sun...and view...with our cocktails when Pam and Red joined us after their boat ride. We're looking forward to spending more time with them here at Lake Pleasant.
