It was a beautiful day as we headed out...a great day for a quad ride. But first we have to trailer the quads and off-load them to area area we are are exploring. We followed Dale and Chloe, towing their side-by-side...and we had the "big" truck towing our quads.

We "picked up" 2 more along the way...Bob, and then John and Marlis. About an hour or so later, we reached our destination...a staging area just outside of Florence to off-load the quads/side-by-sides.
Glad we didn't try to bring our truck as it was much rougher getting here than the last time they were here. We hit the trails just after 10:30...
We stopped at a historical site...unfortunately, we can't remember the name of it...

Chloe, Marlis, and John checking something out...while Bob just chills....
An old mine...
Dale,Bob, me and Chloe...
A wildlife watering station at an old mine site...
Mine entrance...
Chloe exiting the mine...
Chloe, me, and a cow in the background...
There were several free range cattle in the area...
Bob and Steve...
Chloe, Dale and Steve...

The following pictures were captured from video on Steve's Go Pro camera...so come along and enjoy the ride!
Entering Box Canyon...

Love the colours!

Leaving the canyon...
At this point John and Marlis left us. We all thought he was just trying a bit of rock crawling but they never returned to the group....hmmm. In our world if you start with a group you stay with the group unless you tell the group you want to do your own thing. We ran into them again later in the day.
We came from that road in the distance...
Up we go...

Down we go...

Heading back into the canyon...
It's a different view going back...

Passing by a large group that has stopped for a break...

Leaving the canyon...

Wow...that was a great ride and the colours in the canyon were stunning!

We were back at the trucks around 3:00...and after loading the 4-wheelers back onto the trailers, we were off...on our way home after a great day of riding.

Once home, we got cleaned up and then took a beer up to the house and joined Dale and Chloe on the deck. Pizza sounded like a quick and easy dinner...so Chloe and I drove into town and picked up a couple at Little Caesars Pizza.

Good company, good pizza, and a few cold adult beverages...a great way to end a spectacular day!
