Saturday, November 15, 2014 (Pleasant Harbor RV Resort, Peoria, AZ)

We had a pretty laid-back day today. Shortly after 10:00, Rob and Joyce came over to say goodbye...they are heading out today. We chatted for a few minutes and then said goodbye...we'll see you down the road; likely in Quartzsite.

Red and Pam went out to fuel up their truck while we puttered around here...Steve went up on the trailer roof and cleaned and tilted the solar panels and I made the sauce for lasagna.

About mid afternoon, Steve and I decided to go for a walk up to the vista point...

It is another dry camping area with great views however the road is rough...

This site has the best view of the whole area...

Lots of debris along the shoreline from rising waters...

We all chilled outside...Pam and I reading while Red and Steve chatted. As the sun went down, we gathered around the campfire. Not long after dinner, we decided to call it a night and headed inside. We are all hitting the road tomorrow...towards Tucson.

    1. Thanks, Sue. We made it to Catalina State Park today.
We have stayed at Pleasant Harbor RV Resort a few times. It's very convenient to the GMC dealer when we take our truck into Phoenix. We quite like what they call the "temporary" sites overlooking the lake and marina. We had power and water for $28/night for the first 4 nights and then moved to the dry camping area...for $6/night. Can't beat that but it is going up to $10/night on Dec 1; still a pretty good deal.
