After our usual start to the day, we headed out...our first stop was the Visitors Center. We picked up some information there and then made a stop at Safeway. I picked up a few groceries and we also decided to get an Alaska Tour Savers Coupon Book. We just learned about the coupon book from Herb and Ginger, whom we met a couple of nights ago at Williwaw Campground. They just finished touring the Kenai Peninsula and are now on their way towards Denali. The book was a great tip...thanks Ginger and Herb! It was great chatting with you. I hope our paths cross again in the future.
"The Alaska TourSaver travel voucher book contains thousands of dollars worth of free offers and two-for-one discounts from well-known local firms" and at $99.95, easily pays for itself after just a few uses. After we finished at Safeway, we went to Major Tours and booked a 7 1/2 hour Kenai Fjord Tour, of course, using the TourSaver book...two-for-one! We just wish we knew about it before we went on our glacier tour in Whittier!
After we were finished our morning "chores", we decided to drive out to see and go for a hike to Exit Glacier. We stopped at a lookout on our way...
The visitors center at Exit Glacier...
We arrived just in time to take a guided walk with Ranger Lew...
The glacier was way down here in 1998!
You're not allowed on the glacier as it's too dangerous...
...time to head back...
After a great afternoon hike, along with spectacular scenery, we headed home. Time to watch all the activity in Resurrection Bay...

Another great day...we are really looking forward to our Kenai Fjord Cruise tomorrow!
What a lovely experience you are having! I am enjoying traveling on your RV tails!!
