Wednesday to Friday, February 12 to 14, 2020 (La Posa South LTVA, Quartzsite, AZ)

With all of the "playing" Steve has been doing over the last few days, it was time for him to catch up on a few things that had been neglected. So he spent the majority of the day changing the oil in the generator and cleaning the air filters on the quads...both jobs kept him busy.

Cindi is having another keto potluck tonight, so with my last carrot cake being successful, I decided to make it again.

At 5:00 we carried our chairs, beverages and cake over to the campfire ring where they had a couple of tables set up for all of the dishes. We forgot to take a picture...thanks for sharing yours, Cec!
Afterwards, a fire was lit and we enjoyed a great evening. Left to right around the circle...Cec, Jim, Steve, Leslie, Dave, Roger, Cindi, Theresa, Claude, Bill and Robin...
As the evening wound down, Steve, Dave, Leslie and I said our goodbyes and headed home.  Thanks for another great keto potluck, Cindi!

A short time later, we re-grouped at our place for "Survivor" night...the season premiere! Steve had pvr'd it so that we could fast-forward through the commercials...a great way to make a 2 hour season opener more like an hour and a half!

Thursday (Feb. 13) was laundry day...ugh! Leslie was doing their's too, so Steve helped me pile our bags of laundry in the backseat of their truck and we headed off into town. We spent a fun-filled couple of hours at Mainstreet Laundry, picked up a few groceries at Roadrunner groceries and were home around noon. It would be nice if that was the end of it...but we still had to hang the things up that don't go in the dryer, make up the bed and put everything else away. Like I said...UGH!

When we got back, Steve was right in the middle of pumping and dumping. After that was done, we both relaxed for the rest of the afternoon...until it was time for everyone to gather, enjoy an adult beverage or two and chat about their day. I actually love this time of day when a small group gets together and just visit. Pam shared a bottle of her white wine from Texas that she had been saving for me...nice, thanks Pam! Left to right, around the circle...Pam, Guy, Dave, Marilyn, Mike, Dawne, Leslie, Sue and  Steve...

Everyone dispersed for dinner...and Steve and I went over to Dave and Leslie's where we enjoyed delicious elk steak that Dave grilled. Yum! Thanks for dinner, guys!

With our tummies full, we all headed out to the campfire and joined Guy, Sue, Red, Mike and Dawne. Mike brought out a bottle of Vanilla Crown...it was passed around, everyone taking a swig. It was very good!

Marilyn, Leslie taking a swig, and Dave (patiently waiting his turn LOL)
Guy, Sue, Mike's turn for a swig, and Red...
Friday (Feb. 14)...Happy Valentine's Day! with a beautiful sunrise to start the day...
To celebrate Valentine's Day, Pam organized a cookout by the campfire for this evening. My contribution, by request, was the keto carrot cake...so I made my third carrot cake in the last week or so! I also made Caesar dressing for salad.

Steve flew his glider while the wind was calm and with my work done, we headed into Q to pick up a parcel at Quiet Times. We relaxed the rest of the afternoon until it was time to get ready for the cookout.

Steve, and a few others, set up tables for the food...and barbecues...and about 4:00 everyone started to gather around the firepit. We all sat and chatted for a bit and then the grills were lit and all the salads and side dishes came out to the tables.

Mike, Jim, Dave and Earl busy barbecuing...
