Today is our last day here at this "6-star RV Resort"... aka Andrew and Sherry's farm. After two days of museum visits, today is chore day as we prepare to hit the road tomorrow.

After basically 2 days of cloud and rain, we're back to sunshine...and humidity. Steve decided to get out and load the quads early before it got too hot. While he was doing that, I sat at the table with the laptop working on a blog update. I took this picture through the window...the truck was parked right beside the trailer...

I did a final load of laundry, did some cleaning inside and worked on blog updates. After Steve had loaded the quads, he flushed the black tank and did odds and ends outside.

By late afternoon, it was time to get showered and ready to go out for dinner. To thank Sherry and Andrew for all of their hospitality and show our appreciation, we wanted to take them out for dinner on our final night. Sherry chose her favourite restaurant, The Keg Steakhouse and Bar.

I can't believe we didn't think to take pictures...the only one we have is a blurry selfie I took while we sat at the bar waiting for our table...sheesh!

The Keg did not disappoint...we had an absolutely fabulous dinner!

Well, that concludes our visit in the Ottawa area with our hosts, Sherry and Andrew. What a blast we have had and we can't thank them enough for all of their hospitality...they went above and beyond! It was absolutely wonderful re-connecting with you both after 8 years! Let's not leave it that long again!
