Saturday, August 4, 2018 (Quebec City KOA Holiday, Quebec)

Well...after two very busy days of sightseeing, it was chore day today. I started by loading 3 bags of laundry on our cart and trudging up the hill to the laundry room...where I spent the next couple of hours. But by the time I was finished, we were good to go for another couple of weeks.

While I was gone, Steve, as usual, continued working on picture editing. Once I had all of the laundry put away, we headed out to top off the truck with diesel and then stop at IGA for a few groceries.

When we got home, Steve got to work flushing tanks and putting things outside away...in preparation for hitting the road tomorrow. While he was busy doing that I was inside working on a blog update. Once Steve was finished, he came inside and continued researching our route along the Gaspe Peninsula. We want to follow the coast but also want to ensure the route is appropriate for a rig our size...in other words, we don't want any unexpected surprises along the way. We think we'll be okay but decided that a stop at the visitors centre across the highway would be a good idea when we leave tomorrow morning.

We ended the afternoon with a big rainstorm, complete with some great flashes of lightning and booms of thunder. But, it didn't deter us from sitting outside under the awning and enjoying a cocktail on this very hot and humid day...
Tomorrow the adventure continues as we start out for the Gaspe Peninsula...we're really looking forward to it!
