Saturday, July 20, 2019 (Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Winnipeg, Manitoba)--PART 2

We were ready and waiting in the lobby when Gord and Esther arrived just before 5:00. They are going to chauffeur us in 2 trips over to the hall where the wedding is. Gord took Steve and I first, while Esther stayed and visited with Mike and Nadine. It wasn't that far and worked out well...thanks Uncle Gord!

This memory board was set up at the entrance...what a great idea! Pictures of those no longer here to celebrate...Steve's mom and dad bottom right and his brother Rob bottom left...
I took a selfie of Nadine and I...
And one with Steve, Esther and Gordon...
The Reverend Gordon Oaks, who will be performing the ceremony...and his lovely wife, Esther. Uncle Gord has married and buried many family members...
Dave's son Jon, with his son Cory, the very cute ring bearer...and Gordon with a very nervous Dave...
Kerry's parents, Lillian and Don, walked her in...
Jon (Dave's son as Best Man), Dave, Kerry, Gordon, Kayla (Kerry's daughter as Maid of Honour) and Kerry's nieces as flower girls...
Do you take....
Mom had to coax Cory to pass the ring over...
Placing the rings...
Pronounce you husband and wife...you may kiss the bride...
There were about 150 people in attendance and food for 300...LOL!
Taking care of all the paper work...

Great family picture...
Steve had to chase her down...
Kerry's sister Tara did a great job as MC...
Dave's former co worker roasted him...for example when fishing Dave was so accurate with his GPS that only his side of the boat was catching all the fish...LOL!
The bride's speech...
The first dance...
 Cake cutting...
And that pretty well ends our day. There was plenty of music and dancing but with my knees we didn't partake. So much fun visiting with family and being part of Dave and Kerry's special day! Congratulations guys...wishing you many happy healthy years together!
