We have to move to a different site today...a bit of a pain but site T44 is just across the lot so we didn’t pack up the outside stuff (hose, electrical cord, satellite, chairs, etc) instead, we just walked them across.  I didn’t have to strap all the stuff inside down but still had to move the furniture so that we could get the sliders in.

It was about noon when we were all set up in our new location.  The wind had died down to just a nice breeze, the sun was shining...it was a beautiful day.  Steve wanted to put the “slime” in his front bike tire which means you have to ride it a bit to get the stuff to coat the inside of the tire tube,  so after lunch we went for a bike ride around the resort.

Lots of sail boats out on the lake...

After our ride, we sat outside in the sun (then shade) reading for about an hour and a half until it was time to get changed...we were going to walk down to the marina for drinks and dinner.

It was just before 5pm when we arrived at the bar and grill on the dock.  We were surprised that it wasn’t busier on a Saturday night but I guess this is the “off-season”.

We had a couple of beers and then ordered dinner...you should have seen Steve’s face when his burger arrived...it was huge!  It had a knife through it to keep it together!  I wish we had taken a picture of it.  It was a half pound of burger with bacon, onion ring...the works on it!  We should have shared it.

It was just getting dark as we left the restaurant and headed back along the dock home....

We woke to high winds today...for some reason, I thought we were all finished with wind!  No such luck...there was a ‘Red Flag Warning’ for the area today.  The wind was really whipping up the dust...Steve took these pictures from our trailer window...

Well, so much for taking the boat out on the lake today.  Instead....well...we really didn’t do much of anything.  We just hung out all morning and then around 1:00, we decided to go and fuel up the truck and fill some gas containers in preparation for our quad riding at Wickenburg.  Instead of going back to Interstate 17, we took Lake Pleasant Parkway which goes all the way into Surprise, Sun City and Peoria... areas of Phoenix that we hadn`t seen yet.

So our outing was two-fold...fuel up but also take in some sightseeing...I`m really glad we took this route.  The area is very nice.  On our way back we stopped at Walmart where Steve picked up some "slime" to fix his bike's front tire.

We got back home shortly after 3pm and just relaxed inside reading...it was still pretty windy out. This wind is getting a little tiring...sure hope it blows itself out soon!
