Friday, May 15 to Monday, May 18, 2015 (North Saanich, BC)

Well, here we are...today is May 27th and I am finally sitting down to get our blog updated! I think I will do it in a couple of parts. It's not that we have been doing bunches of stuff...just lots of family time.

Friday, May 15th was the start of the Victoria May Day long weekend...and also the unofficial start of the camping season. The folks back at Monck Provincial Park were gearing up for a very busy weekend...sorry we couldn't be there to help out! Oh, well, with the way time is flying by, we will soon be back.

Steve and I managed to get out for a walk. There is a lovely trail system that goes behind the house and weaves all through the area...

We started and ended our walk on the trail behind the house...

Once Rob got home after work, it was time for some R'nR, just relaxing...

Saturday, Conner was so excited to take Grampa to the BC Aviation Museum located near the airport in Sidney.  He loves airplanes and absolutely loves the "air museum"!

Conner couldn't get into the drivers seat because of the resident cat...

They had a pretty terrific time at the museum...Grampa could have spent many more hours there but it was time to take Conner home for an afternoon nap.

Here is Angie holding Conner and showing off baby gifts given to her by good friends of ours...Thank you Charlene for the beautiful afghan and Pam for the cute toy!

Sunday morning, Bryce chilled with Gramma for awhile...

...had a visit from Great Auntie Nadine and Great Uncle Mike (Steve's sister and her husband)...
Then enjoyed some sunshine out on the deck....
Daddy is helping Conner put more water in his water table...

Holiday Monday (May 18), we all took a trip into Victoria to visit Steve's Dad. The care facility where he lives has a lovely outdoor garden area...
Conner loved walking back and forth across the wooden bridge...

After our visit, we stopped at Tulista Park on the Sidney waterfront...

Rob and Angie picked up lunch at McDonald's and after a picnic, Conner got to go play in the playground...
His favourite was the swing...

 Higher Daddy!

What a great May Long Weekend...the weather was absolutely glorious!
