Sunday, January 19, 2014 (La Posa South LTVA, Quartzsite, AZ)

After our usual start to the day, Steve and I decided to get out for a walk. It wasn't quite as nice a day as it has been recently...there was a layer of clouds hanging around and a bit of a breeze. But it wasn't bad...just not as warm, with the temperature only in the high 60's.

Once back from our walk, Steve went up on top of the trailer to clean the solar panels, while I worked on our blog. He took some pictures from up there. It is absolutely amazing how the number of RV's in the area has just exploded with the RV show on this week! It has also really affected our Verizon MiFi reception...too many people using those WiFi waves, I guess.

After lunch we all headed out for a quad ride...there were seven quads, Earl and Allison, Eric, Bob, Sue (in her side-by-side), Art, Steve and I...

 Art...

Earl (and Allison) and Eric...that road didn't go anywhere, time to turn around...

This looks like a good spot for Earl to hide a geocache...

Bob had to clean a dirty injector...time for a little maintenance on the trail...

Rush hour...

Our last stop for a rest was at the old Livingstone Mine site...

It was about 4:30 when we got home...another great afternoon out on the quads. Strictly sightseeing this time, no geocaching today (other than the one Earl hid).

The cloudy sky produced a lovely sunset this evening...
